Footrests, church kneelers, set of two.

Here is a set of two lovely church footstools that were mainly used for kneeling in prayer, hence their name kneelers. They probably date from the early 20th century and their beautiful patina attests to their age. They are made of solid wood. I have cleaned them thoroughly, then treated them against woodworm by brushing and injecting white vinegar (this is my natural method to replace chemical insecticides). I then applied a very light layer of liquid antique wax. They are in generally good condition, sturdy but do not hide their age: there are numerous woodworm holes, various marks, and at one end of one, a chip of wood and a remnant of the slat that probably served to join two benches together. They measure 111 cm in length, 10 cm in width, and 13 cm in height. I am also offering them here individually, please take a good look at the photos and descriptions of each bench before ordering this lot (references RC7RU816 and 2GTGE8CK to type in the search bar).
