This magnificent fish cutlery is made of stuffed silver decorated with a rich guilloché décor. This cover of service is of the second empire period and dates from the second half of the 19th century. It does not bear a legible hallmark. Intended for the service of fish dishes, this cutlery is composed of a fork and a large knife. Napoleon III style, this fish cutlery is decorated with a superb work of guillochis on the handle and blade, accompanied by acanthus leaves, pearls and a pretty medallion to engrave. The blade is decorated with scrolls and rockeries. This cutlery measures 28 and 30 cm in length. I report scratches and traces of oxidation. At the junction of the blade and the handle, we notice a little fodder alloy that stands out. The whole is kept in a suitable case.
