Set of 6 vintage Chippendale Revival style chairs – mid-20th century. Elegant set of six vintage chairs in Chippendale Revival style, dating from the mid-20th century, featuring a fine polished solid wood structure and refined carved details. The backs have three shaped rails enhanced with oval motif carvings. The front legs, turned and particularly elegant, end with distinctive carved lion's paw feet, while the back legs maintain a simpler, straight line. The seats, upholstered, are covered in a pleasant striped fabric in ivory and sage green, embellished with small floral patterns and finished with decorative brass studs. Overall, the set has a solid and stable structure and the upholstery is in generally good condition. There is a small break, visible and to be taken into consideration. A collection of great character, ideal for a dining room, study, or a space furnished in a classic style, where the carved details and the particular colour combination of the upholstery can become a distinctive element.
