This decor is part of the great earthenware tradition of the Gien factory, founded in 1821. Inspired by the famous 18th-century Rouen decors, the Rouen Sainfoin model revisits classic floral and scroll motifs in a rich and refined interpretation. Published in a limited series, this service showcases the historical know-how of Gien, recognised for the quality of its glazes and the finesse of its decorations. A distinctive tableware, both heritage and decorative, ideal for an elegant table or to complete a collection. Dimensions: Diameter: 23 cm. Height: 4 cm. Very good overall condition, vintage item, retains traces of time and manufacturing (Presence of slight crazing of the glaze, common on old pieces, without affecting the sturdiness.) This model is no longer manufactured by Gien.
