This vintage executive lounge armchair was manufactured in Switzerland by De Sede, during the 1970s. It is a model DS-50. This is the first edition of this famous chair. De Sede is thought by many to be the best quality leather furniture maker in the world. It is upholstered in thick brown cognac buffalo leather with hand stitching. Over the years has developed character and natural patination. It has a solid wooden frame and very minimal, sculpture form. Features a reclining mechanism allowing you to recline the chair almost flat if you choose. You can adjust the Lounge Chair in any wanted position for your comfort. De Sede stands for absolutely high quality and handcrafted design classic. This piece is a classic that fits in any style-conscious interior. De Sede has its origins in a small but skilled saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. The craftsmen there committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. Their years of experience and diligence enabled them to create hand-crafted leather furniture of singular quality. In 1965, the family-run business became a joint-stock company called de Sede AG, but remained faithful to their original guiding principles. The armchair is in original vintage condition. The leather has a natural patina, fading and discoloration. The seat is 36 cm high... The colors of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colors. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
