Table lamp or LamPetit wall lamp Materials: Foldable conical lamp with black plastic square beam. Black plastic arms, chromed brass rods inside. Aluminum reflector. B15 metal socket. Integrated transformer 220 volts, 12 volts. Height : from 20 cm to 40,5 cm / 7.91"- 15.94" The lamp has some small signs of use, is in very good condition. Electricity: 1 bulb B15, 1 x 25 watts maximum, 12 volts. The lamp has a transformer 220 to 12 volts. Any type of car bulb can be used, not a specific preferred one. Period: 1960s, 1970s - Mid-Century Modern. Creator: Bent Gantzel-Boysen in 1966. Manufacturer: Louis Poulsen, Copenhagen, Denmark. Other versions: This LamPetit table lamp is available in black, orange and grey. The switch on the back has 3 positions. Off, full power and half power. Same mechanism as on the Japanese table lamp Taki light Iris of that time. LamPetit: Lampetit is the Finnish word for wall lamp or wall lamp. This lamp was intended to be used as a wall lamp. At the bottom there is a recess provided to hang it on the wall. Most people use it as a bedside or desk lamp. Lampe Petite is also the French for small lamp. The LamPetit table lamp received an iF Design Award in 1971. Curved Gantzel-Boysen This table lamp is often attributed to Verner Panton, but this is not the case. Bent Gantzel-Boysen (1930-2008) designed this lamp. It was first published in a catalogue of lamps by Louis Poulsen in 1966. Bent Gantzel-Boysen led Louis Poulsen's own design team in the 70s, which stood behind lamps like the IT 1972 series and the PH 80 table and floor lamps, designed in 1974, to celebrate the 80th birthday of Poul Henningsen (1894 – 1968). Louis Poulsen Louis Poulsen & CO A/S is a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874 by Ludvig R. Poulsen as a wine importer. 4 years later, the company closes its doors. However, in 1892, Ludvig Poulsen opened his second business, this time selling tools and electrical supplies.
