Italian design chest of drawers from the 70s

COD 01159. Italian design chest of drawers from the 1970s. Beautifully designed and beautifully carved, this chest of drawers is veneered in palisander, burl, and fruitwood. It features six spacious drawers, adorned with plexiglass and gilded brass handles. Constructed from a single, non-divisible block, only the drawers are removable for easy movement and placement within the home. The wooden top is of excellent size and practicality. The contrast between the palisander and the lighter woods on the front is striking. The drawers are adorned with a slightly wavy wooden frame (see photo). The chest of drawers rests on two sturdy, wavy legs, offering excellent solidity and stability. Structurally sound and solid, it shows some signs of age (see photo). In good condition, requires polishing.
