Wooden Rocking chair by Illum Wikkelsø for Niels Eilersen, Denmark 1950s

This elegant model Gyngestol No.3 rocking chair was designed by Illum Wikkelsø and was manufactured by Niels Eilersen in Denmark during the 1950s. A beautiful example of Scandinavian high-quality design of this era. The Danish mid-century chair features a white lacquered solid wooden frame. The condition is very good, with only light wear consistent with age and use.
