Like its name, the Taurus chair embodies the zodiacal qualities of the iconic bull (with horns on the seat back). Exceptionally crafted from metal, wood, and brass, the chair possesses an architectural, almost otherworldly quality. This rigorous silhouette is balanced by a slightly rough, handcrafted feel, a recurring theme in Rooms' stellar collection. Rooms, the Tbilisi-based multidisciplinary interior and product design studio founded by Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, brings a strong graphic presence and exceptional craftsmanship to their products. For the "Wild Minimalism" collection, the duo eschewed the "artificial world," seeking solutions inspired by nature and a primitivist aesthetic, using pure materials such as stone, wood, brass, and glass.
