Orientalist lithograph in a glazed gilt wood frame with a cream and blue passe-partout. This modern lithograph, aquatint, colored in bistre, after a watercolor by the Scottish David Roberts (1796-1864) and originally engraved by the Belgian Louis Haghe (1806-1885), represents Sebaste, ancient Samaria. We can see in the foreground riders on horseback, with two dogs in front and a group of characters on the left, indicating the route. And in the background hills and villages. Very beautiful historical representation of this period, very well framed, and of good size and in good condition, this painting will decorate your interior with charm and taste. Condition: the work is in very good condition and the frame shows some small traces of light but not serious friction. Favor sending by colissimo because of the fragility of the work and do not take delivery in lockers. Frame size: W 62 cm H 45 cm.
