Art Deco Statue Pheasant Sculpture Gilded Bronze Marble 1920s

Art deco statuette, sculpture of a pheasant made of bronze gilded with gold leaf, completely in the typical art deco style, mounted on a rounded red marble base, at the bottom a nameplate with inscription, dated 1929, the statuette is possibly a lot older than the nameplate. This statuette is a tribute or trophy, it was issued by 'le pantomine club de bruxelles' to mr. J. Preckher for his 40th year as director of the 'musique au royal cercle meyerbeer', from 1889 to 1929. Very qualitatively and detailed made, very finely finished, the statuette breathes art deco, the proportions of this object are completely in balance.
