Superb pair of bamboo-style brass footrests or ottomans from maison baguès dating from the 1960s. Faux bamboo, asian-inspired, these attributes are typical of the french neoclassical style of the 1950s and 1960s, by maison jansen and maison baguès. The structure has been cleaned, and the seat reupholstered with a beautiful aubergine-colored mohair velvet, the brass has a very beautiful patina. They are very stable and really very well made. Very chic, timeless and very decorative pieces.
