Vintage mid-century designer coffee table with glazed ceramic/tile top from the 70s. The table is overall in excellent original vintage condition with very light signs and marks of use on the top, edges and chrome legs (see photos). No cracks on the top, two tiny marks on 1 corner and one on the edge of one edge (see photos next to the 1 cent coin for perspective). The table is solid and stable. The glides are present (see photo). The table is in the style of some of the works of Belgian artist Juliette Belarti and designer Adri (unsigned piece). These coffee tables will be an eye-catcher. The graphic shapes and vibrant abstract/geometric patterns make a bold and memorable statement. The design features vibrant glazed tiles raised on a chrome steel frame with a 'faux rosewood' Formica decor. It's a nod to the simplicity of the Bauhaus while looking forward to the emerging ultra-glam influence of the early 1970s.
