Thai trapezoidal display cabinet in carved solid wood

Magnificent and authentic Thai showcase made of solid wood dating from the mid-20th century. This piece of furniture stands out for its traditional trapezoidal structure, directly inspired by the architecture of Buddhist temples. The frame of the two glass doors is richly adorned with finely hand-carved floral friezes. Exceptional feet: the piece rests on superb short carved legs representing guardian demon masks surmounting five-clawed imperial paws. Note: the intermediate board that makes up the top of the base has significant dents with material tearing on the edge.
