This library by georges frydman (1924-2022) published by his own house (efa) has 5 levels of shelves and 15 removable doors with slides sometimes in teak, sometimes glass and sometimes canvas (linen color) and reversible on the canvas side or painted side (chalk color), all the shelves are teak and the backgrounds are sometimes mouse gray sometimes teak. All the screws are made of brass, the slides and grips (handles) are made of aluminum. The design is very intelligent and qualitative, and the construction allows infinite variations... Delivery and assembly on site can be considered... The architect georges frydman (1924-2022) developed an early passion for interior furnishing after meeting le corbusier, an architect and designer he admires. In 1954, he founded the equipement fonctionnelle de l'habitation, which became the efa company. He then organized a showroom in nice dedicated to his company, the journalist andré bloc noticed his work and praised it in his magazine l'architecture d'aujourd'hui. In 1966, frydman received the famous rené gabriel award, an award that pays tribute to designers of qualitative and economical serial furniture lines.
