Ceramic vase lamp veb haldensleben – gdr | unique recycled piece

This vase lamp is based on an original ceramic vase from VEB Haldensleben Keramik, GDR. The manufacturer was one of the main producers of ceramics in the former GDR. Its work is characterised by clear, minimalist shapes and distinctive glazes with strong brand recognition. The vase used here features a typical speckled and fluid glaze in intense blue on a light background – powerful and graphic. The sculpted shape with its slightly offset neck gives the vase a serene and architectural presence. The conversion into a lamp is carried out with complete care to preserve the original object: • no drilling. • no irreversible modifications. • reversible brass construction. • the vase's collectible value is maintained. The lamp base is secured inside the vase with a cork stopper and a clip. The vase is weighted with sand for stability. The opening of the vase is sealed with a high-quality brass plate, the threaded rod has a brass coating, and the base is black: • E27 base in black Bakelite. • CE marking. • Designed for up to 120 volts. • Transparent cable leading directly to the base. • Transparent toggle switch / EU plug. The modern cylindrical lampshade (25 X 25 cm) from Roomlight Studio is covered with high-quality fabric featuring floral elements in red and blue. The bold pattern creates a striking contrast with the ceramic base. The light is warm and even – ideal as an accent lamp on a sideboard, console, or bedside table.
