"Lounge Gun" floor lamp by FLOS by Philippe Starck – Gold

Sell the iconic and provocative floor lamp "Lounge Gun" (representing an M16 assault rifle), designed by Philippe Starck in 2005 for the prestigious Italian design house FLOS. More than just a light fixture, it is a true contemporary work of art and a major piece of political design. Designer: Philippe Starck. Publisher: FLOS (100% authentic model signed under the base) Finish: Rifle body and base moulded in pressure-cast aluminium, with an 18-carat yellow gold plated finish. Shade: Made of matte black plastic (external face) and screen-printed gold on the inside with a multitude of small crosses, diffusing a very warm light. Engraved message: On the base, the signature inscription of the collection reads: "Happiness is a hot gun." Dimmer: Equipped with an original dimmer switch on the power cable to adjust the ambiance. 🔍 Detailed condition (Please read carefully and look at the photos): The floor lamp is functional and has a very nice overall shine. However, it shows signs of use that justify its price: Base: The gold metal base has a patina, oxidation spots, and visible surface micro-scratches up close. Edge of the base: There are significant chips and areas of missing gilding/material on the lower edge of the base (see specific photo of the edge).
