Very beautiful round vase by the lacquer artist Jean-Noël BOUILLET, a goldsmith and glassmaker, Prix de Rome. Technique of fusionist art lacquer with inclusions of metallic oxides. In night blue tones with golden inclusions. Photos may sometimes not reflect the true colours, feel free to ask for more. Height: 13 cm, width: 16 cm at its widest. Neck diameter 11 cm. Unique piece. Engraved signature (see photos). Please look closely at all the photos; they are worth a description. Ask me for more if needed. This vase has been used, with limescale deposits inside. Having handled several by the same artist, I advise against putting water in this vase. (Often, the lacquer film peels or cracks at the neck, and air or water can seep between the glass and the lacquer). Hence my low price. Magnificent effect in the fusion of colours and metallic oxides. Very beautiful creation.
