This charming little accent lamp has been made from an original 1950s ceramic vase. The manufacturer is unknown, but the style and glaze are typical of early West German pottery. The compact shape, geometric relief, and blue glaze give the lamp a mid-century character. The lampshade is covered in a decorative black cotton Japanese fabric with a contrasting dog pattern. It provides soft, atmospheric light and makes the lamp a particular focal point – ideal for small spaces, shelves, or bedside tables. The transformation into a lamp was done without damaging the vase: – no perforation thanks to a plug-in solution – fully reversible – the original condition of the vase is preserved. The base of the lamp is also weighted with sand to ensure safe stability. The practical lamp is cordless and equipped with a rechargeable LED light source: – no visible cables, rechargeable via USB-C – flexible placement – warm and pleasant light – controllable via a small remote. Dimensions Total height of the lamp: approx. 28 cm Lampshade: Ø approx. 13.5 cm|Height approx. 17 cm Base: Ø approx. 9 cm|Height approx. 12 cm Condition: very good, no cracks or chips. A practical and characterful unique piece – not just for dog lovers.
