A vintage white, thick, opaline glass mushroom lamp by Peill & Putzler was manufactured in Germany in the 1960s. It represents the iconic Space Age and mid-century lighting design of the period. The overall lamp size is H: 44 cm, diameter: 38 cm. The lamp features a sculptural mushroom-shaped silhouette, formed entirely from white frosted glass, which softly diffuses the light and creates a warm, atmospheric glow. Its organic, rounded form is perfectly balanced by a discreet chromed base, adding a subtle modern contrast to the milky glass shade. There are smaller versions of this lamp, but this is the largest, with a height of almost half a meter.
