Large Italian Vase "Fat Lava" – Fratelli Fanciullacci – Circa 1960

A favourite for this sculptural vase in Italian ceramic from the 1960s. It perfectly embodies the Brutalist style and the Fat Lava trend of the time. Its elongated silhouette and play of textures make it a striking piece, capable of enlivening a Scandinavian sideboard or a contemporary interior. The vase features a spectacular glaze: a turquoise blue base speckled with black, enhanced by two wide bands of raised geometric patterns (sgraffito/fat lava technique). The "bubbling" red-orange glaze adds depth and striking contrast. • Origin: Italy, attributed to the famous Fratelli Fanciullacci factory (the handwritten marking under the base with the serial number 9992 is characteristic of their export productions). • Dimensions: Generous height of 34 cm|Diameter 15 cm. • Condition: Perfect vintage condition.
