This solid oak coat rack, made in the 1900s, embodies the functional elegance of the Belle Époque. Its architecturally structured silhouette, accented by a pediment adorned with small balusters and finials, gives it a warm and welcoming presence from the moment you enter. In the centre, an original bevelled mirror reflects light and structures the whole piece. It is topped with four brass hooks, harmoniously spaced to accommodate coats, hats, or scarves. Two additional double hooks frame this mirror. Below, a discreet shelf provides a practical space for placing keys or gloves. The lower part features a brass rail, typical of coat racks from this era, intended for hanging umbrellas or walking sticks. The base includes a tray for collecting rainwater. The whole piece is appealing due to the quality of its oak, its warm patina, and its authentic charm. It is both a decorative and functional item, perfect for structuring an entrance, hallway, or vestibule with character and history. Period: 1900. Excellent condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop. Waxed finish. Width: 80 cm. Depth: 17 cm. Height: 220 cm. Reference: 515V.
