Exceptional ceiling light or chandelier with six lights in Art Deco style, Atelier Petitot, Paris, circa 1930, in nickel-plated metal. It diffuses a pleasant warm and diffuse light through its frosted and engraved opaline glass shades. The structure is made of nickel-plated brass, with a central stem branching out into six arms, each ending in an upward-facing opaline glass shade. The shades are engraved with geometric patterns characteristic of Art Deco, featuring rows of triangular shapes that dance across the surface, with striated and fluted details in the frosted and moulded glass that enhance the chandelier's exterior profile. These geometric patterns are reflected in the metal of the dome. A wonderful chandelier, a true example of Art Deco lighting.
