Yngve Ekström "Palett" Table, ESE-Möbler

1950s "Palett" side table by Yngve Ekström for ESE-Möbler, with shaped elm burl top and black lacquered legs. Designed by Yngve Ekström, a leading figure of Swedish modernism and founder of ESE-Möbler, later Swedese, the "Palett" table owes its name to its palette-shaped top. The elm burl surface, set with small brass inlays, rests on three tapered black lacquered legs. Its organic, asymmetrical form is among the freest expressions of 1950s Swedish design. Good condition. It may show signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AG265
