Alpi Verde 1970's Italian green marble coffee table

Superb 1970's style coffee table with a flawless "green of the alps" veined marble slab and solid wood base. The table top has been cut into perfect curves (see dimensions in photos), with beveled edges, one side polished, its 25mm thickness gives it a solid appearance. The slab fits perfectly into a solid wood frame worked to the nearest millimeter. The verde alpi of which the top of this table is composed is an italian marble extracted from the quarries of the aosta valley. It is characterized by its dark green background with a metallic appearance and the presence of white veins which can be thinner or thicker, giving it an attractive depth. This stone reassures and soothes with its color. The italian "green of the alps" has been worked for centuries, it is present in many buildings. Today, it is taking its place again through decorative touches in contrast with more modern or contemporary elements.
