Eugenio Carmi Art Mirror 1970's Italian Decorative

Decorative geometric wall mirror by Italian artist Eugenio Carmi for the furniture brand Acerbis. Designed in the 1980s and named 'Morphos', this mirror is part of a series that perfectly represents Carmi's artistic approach, featuring intertwined geometric shapes in bright colors. The style is reminiscent of the 'Memphis Group' aesthetic. The mirror is fitted in a black lacquered wood frame and includes two eyelets on the back for hanging. The mirror itself is in great shape. The wooden frame shows some signs of wear consistent with age and use, including minor fading and some visible scratches where the wood base emerges from underneath the black lacquer coating; these can be easily touched up or the frame could be replaced.
