Beautiful nanny chair, also called milk chair, from the 19th century. Solid wood, probably walnut, it has a very nice dark brown color, as well as a beautiful patina. Crafted, with various mouldings and sculptures, the seat is also made of wood. These chairs were called this because they allowed mothers to sit comfortably to breastfeed their child.
