Lime & shadow. Oil on canvas. Size: 55 X 72 cm (including frame) An invigorating and dynamic mid-century abstract expressionist painting that focuses on a confident interplay of colours and expressive brushwork. Thoughtfully selecting a colour palette of white, black, brown, and striking lime green, the artist displays his painterly skills as the respective shades layer, intertwine, and overlap one another, creating a captivating visual experience. The painting also has some areas of restoration which is only visible from the reverse. Overall, the painting’s appearance is good. The frame is also in good vintage condition.
