Desk designed by Charlotte Perriand in the late 1950s. The rectangular top is laminated with a grey melamine and rests on a black lacquered metal structure, featuring a red drawer marked "Charlotte Perriand patented S.G.D.G." Cansado is a mining town built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mines Company "MIFERMA" to house its staff. Some of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967.
