A vintage chest of drawers restored to its bare state, a beautiful color after the damaged veneer was removed and sanded. The badly damaged top was replaced and repainted in a pretty biscuit beige, which contrasts with the wood, brightens the whole and echoes the color of the wallpaper that covers the drawer bottoms. The gold wire handles are original (and bright after cleaning) and so are the compass feet, so characteristic of this 50s furniture that we love so much.
