1960’s Mid century ‘Cantata’ desk by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag

Kneehole desk from the cantata collection designed by john & sylvia reid for stag furniture ltd. Sylvia and john reid were hired by the stag cabinet company in the early 1950s. The relationship (from 1952 until the early 1960s) produced some of the finest and most iconic pieces of british mid century furniture. This desk follows their typically understated style. Richly coloured teak throughout with the trademark cantata sculpted handles. Size. Width 151cm X depth 44cm X height 69cm. Condition: excellent mid century condition.
