Pair of large table lamps, 1960s-70s. Dark blue glaze with orange-ochre-brown accents. Model 1022, made by søholm stentøj (soholm pottery) on the island of bornholm, denmark. Søholm stentøj, meaning soholm sandstone, was founded in 1835 by herman sonne wolffsen and edvard sonne. By the mid-20th century, søholm produced a wide range of stoneware with varying patterns and shapes. Several designers have worked for søholm stentøj such as einar johansen, maria philippi, noomi backhausen among others. The lamps are signed with the manufacturer's mark. New electrification, new lampshade (diameter 35cm) base height 34cm / total height 54cm. Lamp base: 17x13cm.
