Willy Ceysens, Brutalist Aluminum Coffee Table

Very nice artwork coffee table designed and crafted by Belgian artist Willy Ceysens in his own atelier in Neerpelt in the 1970s. The standout feature of this brutalist piece is its remarkable sand-cast aluminum top, decorated with a central modernist eye-like figure. The raw surface exhibits a beautiful structure in varying gray tones, which constantly shifts under different lighting conditions. Complementing the top, the chrome-plated metal sheet base adds to the table's solidity and robust appearance. This coffee table remains in good vintage condition with minor scratches to the metal base.
