Pair of vintage Baumann armchairs – 1960s/70s design – Light wood

Very beautiful pair of Baumann armchairs, model Argos, made in France. An iconic model from the Baumann factory, dating back to the 1970s, recognisable by its elegant light beech structure and its spectacular backrest surrounded by a curved wooden arch. Both armchairs retain their original structure, with integrated armrests, sculpted backrest, and three characteristic vertical openings. The seats are upholstered in a lovely terracotta/rust fabric, particularly warm with the light wood. The pair is in lovely vintage condition, with some normal signs of wear considering its age. The structure is stable and the armchairs remain perfectly usable. A particularly interesting pair for a Mid-Century, vintage, Scandinavian, or design interior, suitable for a living room, office, library, or bedroom.
