This set of two chairs was made in Italy in the second half of the 20th century. The chairs are inspired by the famous Cesca B32 model. In 1928, Cesca was the first rattan seat of this type, designed by Marcel Breuer. The name was a tribute to Breuer's adopted daughter, Francesca. A piece of the original chairs is located in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. It is considered one of the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century. The chair frame is made of chrome-plated steel. The edges of the seat and backrest are made of solid white wood with a natural patina. The centre is made of French wicker in a characteristic weave known since ancient Egypt, resembling a net. The chairs are in their original vintage condition. They show slight scratches on the wicker and a mark on the seat frame. The seat height is 44 cm. The dimensions of the chairs differ by 1 cm. The colours of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colours. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of the item in a living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
