Brutalist Brazilian style lounge chair and ottoman, 1960s

Impressive lounge chair and matching ottoman. The frame is made from solid wood. The seat and back are made from thick leather. The seat and the bottom of the ottoman are reinforced by slats made of plywood. The leather is fixed together with leather laces. One of the details that makes this chair stand out is that the laces are braided into a beautiful pattern on the corners. The leather has a great patina. The armrests have craquelé but the leather has no holes or tears and is still very supple. Robust and impressive piece that will be an eye catcher in every interior. Period: 1960-1970.
