Chesterfield leather office chair with Dutch marquetry

We are pleased to offer for sale this significant office chair, fully restored, handmade around 1850, adorned with inlaid Dutch marquetry, featuring a Chesterfield-style green leather buttoned seat. The chair is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, with every inch carved or inlaid with details. The structure has been delicately restored while preserving the original patina associated with age. The seat cushion is made of new Italian leather, hand-dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed, and polished. Dimensions: Height 86 cm, width 58 cm, depth 61 cm, seat height 50 cm. The chair is in good condition, renovated, with wear consistent with age and use. The leather shows a natural patina with cracks, creases, and wear, with a recommendation for regular maintenance with polish and to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
