🌿 Pair of antique majolica plant pots – Raised birds – Late 19th century 🐦 Superb pair of late 19th-century majolica plant pots, decorated with medallions of raised birds, sculpted foliage, and a beautiful marbled base. The turquoise, caramel, and midnight blue colours offer a lovely contrast. The facet work and deep reliefs provide a decorative charm typical of the 1880s, with a beautiful Art Nouveau influence in the lines and plant motifs – 1900. 📏 Dimensions. Height: 20 cm (≈ 7.9 in) Top diameter: 21 cm (≈ 8.3 in) Total weight: 3 kg (≈ 6.6 lb) for the pair. ✨ Condition. Good overall condition for pieces of this period, with their bright colours and sharp reliefs. A few points to note (detailed photos): A chip in the surface glaze on one handle, non-through and without loss of material. Chip on the base, located underneath: not visible when the pot is placed.
