Superb Neoclassical Coffee Table - "Anticato" Finish & Glass. Description: Magnificent coffee table acquired in 2001. It is a high-quality decorative piece, inspired by the neoclassical style (late 18th - early 19th century), perfect for an elegant and characterful interior. Features: • Style: Neoclassical, Directoire or Empire type, with stylised 'jarret' legs. • Materials: Wooden structure with curved legs. The edge of the top is made of punched metal with a deliberately aged and patinated finish (wear imitation) for a very authentic "anticato" look. • Details: Decorative frieze of palmettes at the centre of the top, matching the style. • Tops: Two glass tops (upper and lower) in excellent condition. • Period: Bought new in 2001. • Dimensions: Length 120 cm X Width 80 cm X Height 50 cm. • Condition: Very good overall condition.
