Small regional walnut commode, louis xvi style – early 19th century

Louis XVI chest of drawers in solid walnut and light and stained wood marquetry, equipped with two large drawers whose fronts are inlaid with fillets and friezes. Each drawer has two drop handles and a louis XVI entrance in ornate bronze with knot and laurels. A chiseled key and an original lock in working order complete the set. The uprights of this chest of drawers are inlaid with strips of light wood and stained wood forming trompe-l'oeil effects. This chest of drawers rests on covered legs and is topped with a beautiful 2.5 cm turquin blue marble. ******** period: early 19th century excellent condition after restoration in our workshop waxed finish.
