Vintage elm wood stool S01 design by Pierre Chapo 1960

S01 stool by French designer Pierre Chapo (1927-1987). Beautiful piece made of honey-coloured elm. Square seat, 29x29cm with bevelled edges and rounded corners. Faceted tapered legs. Height: 45 cm without the protective pads. Very good overall condition, no wobble in the legs. A small crack on the edge of the seat visible in the first four photos (at the level of the left leg).
