Danish lounge chair designed by Juul Kristensen, created during the 1960s or 1970s, is a strong example of Scandinavian Modern design focused on simplicity, comfort and craftsmanship. The softly sculpted armrests and balanced proportions give the chair a calm architectural presence characteristic of high-quality Danish Modern furniture. The frame is made of solid teak, a material particularly prized in Danish design of the period for its durability and natural, warm color. The wood has been renovated, removing the old coatings and finishing with high-quality Danish oil. The armchair cushions have been reupholstered in beige fabric. This armchair was made in Denmark in the 1960s. The armchair frame is made of solid teak and been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The pillows were made anew and upholstered with a fabric made of a mixture of linen, cotton and viscose, resembling in its texture the materials originally used in the 1960s.
