Eromes ebony and chrome ant chair with armrests and cushion

Vintage "ant" chairs with armrests by contract furniture manufacturer Hollandes Eromes. Seat made of pagwood (pagholz), a beech wood impregnated with phenolic resin that gives it unfailing strength while maintaining its organic, delicate lines, stained in ebony. Chrome-plated stainless steel frame allows the chairs to be joined to form a "bench" or stacked for easy storage. The armrests are made of black PVC, with blue cushions on the seat and back.
