French wooden arched floor lamp from the 1940s

A large, organically shaped, curved floor lamp designed by an unknown Italian modernist designer around the 1940s. The lamp is made of curved walnut wood. The electrical cable is embedded in the wood and has a switch located on the floor. The shade hangs from the hooked end of the lamp holder. The hood itself is made of fabric and coated on the inside. This is a rare and beautiful lamp with a design you don't often see these days. Other Italian designers working in a similar organic style are Carlo Mollino, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, Max Ingrand, and Angelo Lelii.
