Butter dish

A very decorative cheese bell made of pressed glass from the art deco period. The bell was made by glasfabriek leerdam and designed by ad Copier. The dome has a beautifully cut pattern and a special handle. The dome and the bottom of the tray are decorated in relief. What makes this dome very rare is that the tray appears optically black, but when you hold the tray against the sunlight you can see that it shines through the dark purple.
