table lamp 1950-60 Scandinavian

Beautiful scandinavian style table lamp (or bedside lamp) from the 1960's. Unusual design. Gilded brass base, exotic wooden saucer (unidentified), opaline glass globe. Socket e14, cabling in very good condition. The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned, and checked: it is ready for use. The socket has been replaced by an identical but new socket. The bottom has been redone and a black felt has been replaced: the old one, in poor condition, has been removed to be able to redo the wiring of the lamp: no risk of scratching the furniture on which the lamp will be placed. The globe is in perfect condition. Total height 34cm --- wingspan of the base 16cm. On the images, the test of the lit lamp was done with a "cold" led bulb of 2w which gives a white light but we could put an identical bulb a little warmer. I will leave the bulb inside (it is new and its minimal consumption of 2w).
