Old oil painting, portrait of a folkloric Austrian man, Vienna 1892.

This painting represents the portrait of a Viennese man from the 19th century in traditional costume. Presented in a three-quarter view but looking directly at the viewer, he has dark hair neatly cut on the sides and a distinctive moustache curled upwards. He is wearing a dark jacket with a high green collar adorned with elegant gold embellishments and several decorative gold buttons. The painting was created in oil on canvas in 1892 by an unknown artist. It is signed illegibly in the bottom right corner. It is in good condition considering its age and is framed in an ornate and worked gold frame, restored in several places.
