Brutalist sculptural table lamp "Man and Woman near a Tree", Italy, 1970s

A sculptural brutalist table or accent lamp from the 1970s. Originating from Italy, it depicts a man and a woman (possibly Adam and Eve) standing next to a tree or a column. A unique piece with a handcrafted ceramic base featuring a stunning glaze reminiscent of aged bronze, with a mix of glossy and matte surfaces. The colour spectrum ranges from dark brown to green and moss tones, creating a rich patinated effect. The lamp is intact and has been recently re-wired. It includes a replaced oval grey lampshade that is in excellent condition. The lamp is in very good overall vintage condition.
