Shaped from white ironstone by the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, this oval dish bears on the back the stamp with the crowned coat of arms printed under the glaze, characteristic of productions from the 1920s to the 1950s. Its compact size allows it to transition discreetly from one use to another: a display for workshop soaps in a bathroom, a catch-all on an entrance console, or a small serving dish for olives during aperitif time. Its bright white and slight signs of use naturally complement contemporary interiors, balancing raw wood and more graphic ceramics.
