Old linen blend curtain, monogram "HL" (230x330)

Beautiful and large antique trousseau sheet in white linen, probably a linen and cotton blend, from the late 19th to early 20th century. Approximate dimensions: 230cm X 330cm. The discovery is highlighted by a double row of drawn thread work, fine and regular. Other drawn threads form a discreet and geometric decoration that elegantly frames the upper part. In the centre is a prominent monogram with two initials, probably "H.L.", embroidered in white relief using a satin stitch, set within a large oval cartouche composed of scrolls and floral motifs. The decoration is enhanced with stylised branches and ears of corn, small flowers, as well as embroidered knots in a scattered pattern, giving the whole a particularly refined character. The fabric features a fine, tight, and regular weave, consistent with a beautiful old linen and cotton blend. Very beautiful trousseau work, no stains or tears to report. Very good condition. Washed and disinfected with a product complying with EN 1276 and EN 14476 standards, then ironed and folded.
